I came to love Norwegian folk music and dance through Folklore Village, Dodgeville, WI when in my 20’s. Haven’t danced in decades, but this upcoming book with Chloe in Norway inspired me to dust off my record of Norwegian Folk Music by Hans Brimi, Mary Barthelemy and Jon Faukstad. You can listen to samples of their tunes on-line. I expect hearing the music will enhance the story, so encourage all to seek it out while we wait for the book.

I only discovered these terrific books a few years ago. After the first read I read them back to back to back. Now I have Audible editions so I can listen when I can’t be reading. I would love an advance copy so I can read it right away and start telling everyone I know what they have to look forward to.

Can’t wait for the next one! When are the Audiophiles going to get another book to listen to??? Chloe and Roelke make my rides seem so much shorter! (WI State Patrol frowns on reading actual books behind the wheel!) I’ve learned so much about the history of my home state and the Midwest through these books. It makes me want to be a tourist in my own state!
