I just ‘met’ Chloe in December and have read 5 of the books so far. I am really looking forward to Lacemaker’s Secret, as my husband is Belgian and grew up north east of Green Bay. His family arrived in 1856. However, they were Flemish, not Walloon. We hope to help the Belgian Heritage Center add the story of the Flemish immigrants.

So many good things about the Chloe series, Kathleen. I especially enjoy learning so much about the places she takes us as her life unfolds. Funny how often serendipity brings intersections between her life and mine.
Despite what your publisher does in future, I do hope you will find a way for us to continue our relationship with you through your characters. Best wishes. And thank you for the joy.

Your series has been enjoyable for me as a retired teacher in Southern Wisconsin. Several former students former students and fellow teachers have read several of them because they touch us — not the murder mystery, the locale. Expanding to other locations has kept us involved. Can’t wait for next book.
